On December 17th, the delegation of South Asian Nation Friendship Association Presidents and Youth Leaders from five countries including
Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Maldives, and Sri Lanka visited the college. Chen Zhengyong, Member of Standing Committee of CPC
Guangyuan Committee, Tang Jilan, Vice President of the Sichuan Provincial Association for Foreign Affairs, Yang Chengkai, Deputy Secretary
General of CPC Guangyuan Committee, and Yang Dingbing, Director of Guangyuan Economic Cooperation and Foreign Affairs Bureau,
accompanied the visit. Han Peng, and Mu Zhongxu, warmly welcomed the delegation.
The delegation watched the international exchange and cooperation exhibition, visited the training room of automation production line
disassembly and assembly, the training room of CNC processing, and the training room of IOT. Subsequently, the college held a symposium in
the conference room 0903 of the comprehensive building.
Han Peng introduced the exchange and cooperation between the college and South Asian countries in professional exchange, cultural
exchange, and international student recruitment in recent years, and expressed his willingness to continue deepening cooperation with South
Asian countries.
Representatives of South Asian international students shared their gains and feelings from studying at the college, and sang the song "Auld
Lang Syne" with teacher representatives.
Anoop Ranjan Bhattarai, Chairman of Organization for South Asian Regional Friendship and Cooperation with China and Nepal-China
Executive Council, highly praised the college’s level of international education and expressed willingness to build more platforms to carry out
joint programs in computer, electronics and other professional fields between institutions in China and Nepal, as well as teacher and student
training projects.
After the meeting, members of the delegation had in-depth exchanges with teachers and students.
Representative teachers of the International Cooperation Office, School of Humanities, School of Intelligent Control, School of Modern
Manufacturing, School of Electronics and Internet of Things, and representatives of international students participated in the above activities.
